Extra Curricular

At Stourport Primary, we are exceptionally proud of our Extra-Curricular clubs and activities. Extra-curricular activities support children’s personal development, boosting their confidence to interact socially with others; extending their social networks; and providing them with new skills and abilities. Above all, they offer an important space to have fun and relax away from the pressures of school work. All of our staff are involved in running clubs at some point during the year – some clubs run for half a term, some for a full term, meaning there is always something new to have a go at. At the beginning of each half term we will send a letter to parents explaining what clubs are on offer for which year group and who is running them. You can sign your child up to the Extra Curricular activity they would like to take part in on Parent Pay – the deadlines for signing up on the letter. So that we can try and ensure that all of our children can take part in at least one club during the year – we may limit choice to one activity per half term in the first instance.
