Parent View
Parents and carers can give their views of Stourport Primary Academy at any time of the school year and at the time of a school inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View.
When the school is notified of our next Ofsted inspection, parents will be invited to give their views about the school to inspectors using Parent View online facility. This gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about our school, including:
- how happy your child is at the school
- how the school manages bullying or challenging behaviour
- how we support pupils with SEND
etc.

In the Key Stage 2 SATs tests at the end of Year 6, in Reading and Maths children are awarded a scaled score, where 100 indicates the expected standard and 110 indicates a high level of attainment. Writing continues to be teacher assessed and children aim to acquire the expected standard, or greater depth outcomes.

The Pupil Premium is allocated to schools for children of statutory school age from low-income families who are known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) in both mainstream and non-mainstream settings; to children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months and to children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces. The allocation will include pupils eligible for FSM at any point in the last six years (known as the Ever 6 FSM measure).
Schools are free to spend the Pupil Premium as they see fit. However, we will be held accountable for how we have used the additional funding to support pupils from low-income families. From September 2012 we have been required to publish online information about how we have used the Premium. This will ensure that parents, and others, are made fully aware of the attainment and progress of pupils covered by the Premium and the extra support that they receive.
The information below summarise how the school intends to spend the funding over the next three years and it’s intended impact, as well as how we have spent the premium over the last year and the impact it had on disadvantaged pupils.

In March 2013 the government announced that it was to provide funding of £450 million per annum for academic years 2013 to 2016 to improve provision of physical education (P.E.) and sport in primary schools in England.
All schools have to spend the sport funding on improving their provision of P.E. and sport, but there is freedom to choose how we do it. At Stourport Primary we recognise the contribution of P.E. to the health and well-being of our children. We also believe that providing an innovative and varied P.E. curriculum and a range of extra-curricular opportunities will have a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and academic achievement of all pupils, as well as introducing them to life-long interests.
From 2017 the Government have doubled the funding for Primary schools.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent closure of schools, the government issued an amount of catch-up funding to all schools to support with closing gaps in learning. The amount of funding allocated is based on pupil numbers and is paid over two financial years.
