School Lunches

We are incredibly proud to have an excellent kitchen on site that caters for hot lunches every day. We work in partnership with by AIP who source produce from farmers produce wherever possible and ensure local, seasonal fruit and vegetables are used in all of their menus.  Children select from a three-week menu and order and pay for meals via Parent Pay.  If you are in receipt of benefits you may be entitled to free school meals, click here for more information, or speak to the school office.

Pupils may choose to bring a healthy packed lunch, which may include a drink, although water is provided.

Current Menus

Break Time Snack

The children may bring one item for a small snack for morning break. This could be a piece of fruit or a healthy snack. Children in Key Stage 1 and Reception class receive a piece of fruit through the ‘Fruit for Schools’ Scheme. We discourage children from bringing sweets to school as a break time snack.  Hot tuck is also available from the kitchen – which is payable on the day in cash.

Drinks

We encourage children to bring water to school and are able to take water bottles into classrooms. Children’s water bottles should be plastic and have their names on. Water fountains are available for use by everyone. Fizzy drinks are not allowed in school.

Milk

Milk is available at morning break in one third of a pint cartons to those pupils who wish to have a drink and are prepared to pay the daily rate of 23p.  However, the under 5’s and children entitled to Free School Meals receive free school milk. Parents are sent a slip from the school office informing them of the cost for milk for the next term and are requested to pay that amount in advance on Parent Pay.
