Welcome to our OFSTED section for inspectors. Below are links to school information that will be useful for your visit:
Parents and carers can give their views of Stourport Primary Academy at any time of the school year and at the time of a school inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View.
When the school is notified of our next Ofsted inspection, parents will be invited to give their views about the school to inspectors using Parent View online facility as this has replaced Ofsted’s paper questionnaire. Please make sure we have your most up-to-date contact details.
Please register with an email address and password at https://www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk. Once your login has been activated, it only takes a few minutes to complete answers to 12 short questions about aspects such as bullying, the quality of teaching, level of homework, etc.
Your views are important in helping inspectors make a decision about Stourport Primary Academy and to help us know what is going well and what could be improved.
If you do not have a computer or an email address or if you would like help to use Parent View, please come into school and ask at main school office.
“The strong leadership of he headteacher, supported effectively by governors and staff, has brought about improvements in teaching, which is now good.”
“Pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development is good. As a result, behaviour is good and the school provides a calm and orderly environment in which pupils show good attitudes to their learning.”
“Pupils enjoy school and especially the wider range of opportunities open to them outside lessons. These include sporting activities, musical tuition and a much enjoyed maths club. One pupil said that they ‘could not think of anything the school could do to improve’.”
Ofsted Inspection 2013
Stourport Primary Academy is a one and a half form entry. Currently there are 279 pupils on roll aged 4 – 11 years. The ‘Outstanding’ nursery on site makes up the large proportion of intake – but annualy our intake comes from approximately 5 different nurseries. From September 2013 the Nursery expanded to include provision for 2 year old pupils.
We are exceptionally proud of our school and aspire to excellence. Our culture is one of inclusion and celebration, our ethos promotes mutual respect. A strong and caring ethos and commitment to the children from all staff with a desire to achieve the very best for all children. January 9th 2012 saw the opening of our new school, with attached private nursery and Children’s Centre. All stakeholders were involved in the design of the purpose built provision.
